Tips for screen capture in GED
The general technique is to capture a monochrome bitmap from the screen
in your favorite format.
This will normally mean that you start up GED in one of its monochrome
modes (-m6, -m15, -m17).
If your screen capture facility works through the print-screen key, just
use the PRINTER MODE=-1 configuration line, press Control-P, and your
screen capture will come up after GED has removed the cursor and redrawn
the screen.
If your screen capture facility does not use the print-screen key (INT
5), first move the cursor to the right side where it is hidden,
and then invoke your screen capture facility. This may require some
fine cursor movements (h & l keys).
Wordperfect: (tip of the hat to Frans Rip)
Use the Wordperfect-supplied GRAB.COM with the /M switch to capture
monochrome screens in the default .WPG format.
